Summer Academy

Thank you for your interest in our Summer Academy at the Parish of St. Katharine Drexel.  The Summer Academy is an accelerated and intensive option for our Religious Education students who attend Mass regularly.  The program meets for 2 weeks during the summer to complete the grade’s core curriculum and then meets quarterly throughout the year to review what they have learned and to put their faith in action, works of mercy and reception of the sacraments.

Due to the intense nature of this program, attendance at all class meetings is imperative and regular Mass attendance (weekly) is mandatory.  All registrations must be approved by the Pastor.  For students registered at another Parish, the Office of Religious Education requests a letter from the student’s Pastor confirming regular Mass attendance.
